		DEACONESS' COUNCIL Presidential~ Communiqué *"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing the in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matthew 28:19* To: Pastors, Churches, State Officers, District Officers, Congressional Officers, and Deaconess Ministries of Progressive M&E Baptist State Convention of Florida, Inc. What a blessing it is to write to you as we approach the time of our 2^nd “Joint Brotherhood/Deaconess Council Unity Day Celebration”. The dates are August 19-20, 2011. Our combined effort is in God’s holy plan for us to bring forth a joyous celebration of Deacons and Deaconess from all over the State of Florida united as one to minister to the lost, and to lift God’s holy word to the unsaved. We will begin on Friday night, August 19, 2011 with a Holy Communion service at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 505 35^th Street South, Saint Petersburg, Fl 33711. The Pastor and Speaker of the hours is Reverend Earnest Jones. Our theme this year is “ Walking Together”…Amos 3:3. The registration period will begin before the service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The cost of registration will be $10.00. The attire for the evening is Black for the Deacons and White for the Deaconess. Please invite everyone in your areas to this glorious occasion! The Saturday morning session of August 20, 2011 will begin at 8:30 AM with our co-hosts, Deacon Charles Warren and Deaconess Judy Fagins. We have an outstanding day of Presenters, Speakers, Praise and Worship planned. The Saturday session will feature Reverend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, President of State Convention, as the Speaker of the hour. The dress attire is Business Casual. This year we are asking that everyone make a special effort to invite your local Deacons and Deaconess to our sessions.
